Spring Quarter Flyer: Schedule Changes

Spring Series

As Spring approaches, I am passing along the flyer that announces my yoga class schedule for this next season; I have combined my Turtle Haven (Deming) Wednesday evening classes into one time slot of 5:45pm. The Monday evening class time has been adjusted from 5:15 to 5:30 pm. Ever grateful for the opportunity to teach yoga, I hope to see you in classes, as we bask in more light, and the emerging new life of this Spring season! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Wonder flier revised (1)-jpg

Sending a quick reminder that Ravi and his daughter Munju will be here next weekend! We’re excited to delve into the subject of Wonder as it relates to the sacred in everyday life. Many seem not to be engaged in clear religious devotion these days, and yet to have such keen interest in the subject of what brings us into realms of deeper engagement with our own lives in meaningful ways. The exploration with Ravi and Munju will engage us along these lines. As some of you know, Ravi is a Physicist. Here are some words from Albert Einstein, a Physicist of an earlier generation offering words related to the inspiration that emerges from Wonder:

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead —his eyes are closed. The insight into the mystery of life, coupled though it be with fear, has also given rise to religion. To know what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty, which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their most primitive forms—this knowledge, this feeling is at the center of TRUE religiousness.”
