In class last week, on Tuesday morning at Turtle Haven, we reflected upon the inspiring approach to meditation which includes inwardly dwelling upon passages from sacred literature. This practice was especially embraced and offered by the wonderful teacher, Eknath Easwaren, now deceased, yet vitally living on through his teachings. Jillian mentioned in class, a discovery of his audio recordings of some of these passages which may be found on the following website:

There is also a collection of these passages for meditation, which Easwaren compiled, along with instructions for using them. The book is titled God Makes the Rivers to Flow. A lovely feature of this text, is in the diversity of readings, as they arise from many different traditions.
