I was asked to share some quotes, and am doing that here!
The first is from a few weeks back, and is a quote from Rabindranth Tagore on faith:

Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.

The next is from the Dalai Lama on compassion, that seems especially relevant at present:

You must not hate those who do wrong or harmful things; but with compassion, you must do what you can to stop them — for they are harming themselves, as well as those who suffer from their actions.

Lois shared these words from Andrew Harvey:
A spirituality that is only private and self-absorbed, one devoid of an
authentic political and social consciousness, does little to halt the suicidal
juggernaut of history.

On the other hand, an activism that is not purified by profound spiritual
and psychological self-awareness will only perpetuate the problem it is
trying to solve, however righteous its intentions.
