IMG_0304“Someone’s Praying Lord”… and They Have a Body!

The term “embodiment” invites us into a more holistic and integrated way of living in relation to the Divine. Many of us have limited connection with our body’s inherent wisdom, however when we witness and listen deeply to this trusted source, we may find more direct connection to our bodies as messengers and vessels for Soul and Spirit. In this experiential day of reflectection, we will engage in breathing practices, embodied awareness practices, and creative expression which will help us live into a more integrated, spiritually informed presence.

Elizabeth Kerwin is a psychotherapist and classical Certified Iyengar yoga teacher, engaged at the heart of her life in her own Interspiritual search which began in her Catholic childhood, now circling back to those roots, infused with decades of yoga and meditation practice that have informed her adult vision.

Jillian Froebe, an ordained Interfaith Minister, Spiritual Companion and Authentic Movement teacher, with in depth psychological training, values the rich gifts and wisdom teachings of all faith traditions and embodied, direct experience. She offers compassionate soul care, guidance, and mentoring to individuals, partners and groups, with a focus on contemplative and creative practices.

Turtle Haven Sanctuary is where Elizabeth and Jillian live, practice and teach. They welcome seekers to this nature based environment and will soon host self-guided or accompanied retreats at the Turtle Haven Forest Hermitage.
